Mitchell Donaldson
Mitchell is in year 12 at Hillbrook Anglican School and hopes to study architecture at the University of Queensland.
He designed his memorial concept of "353 bars....in the shape of a boat" when he was in year 10.
He has painted a pole for the memorial, drawing from Islamic art designs and from the blue and gold colours used in Mosque decoration.
